Meet with the local guide and depart from Piazza Europa to admire the city from the top of the panoramic road that leads through the vineyards and offers breathtaking views of Manarola, the second village of the Cinque Terre. You return to La Spezia to visit the Italian Naval Museum and visit the medieval center of the city with the old Santa Maria Cathedral. Optional lunch on your own. In the late afternoon or evening, individual concert in a church or friendship concert with a local group. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight.
Breakfast. Transfer to La Spezia train station where you start your day trip by train to the Cinque Terre. Arrival in Rio Maggiore, the most populous village. From here you walk (approx. 1 km) along the romantic and famous “”Via dell’ Amore””, which is carved into the rocks with a view of the sea. You reach Manarola and then continue by train to Monterosso, the largest village. Lunch in a restaurant with fish specialties. In the afternoon departure from Monterosso by boat for the panoramic cruise of the Cinque Terre. You can admire the picturesque coastline and the steep slope that the residents have modeled with tenacity. The local wine Cinque Terre DOC is produced on these terraced vineyards, located on the steep side of the mountain. You also drive past the villages of Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarolo and Riomaggiore and arrive in Portovenere. Visit the suggestive medieval village and the church of San Pietro on a rock with a view of the sea. Then return to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight.
