Description

Rome – Unesco World Heritage Site, the Eternal City and unique in the world to contain within a state (the Vatican). Rome is also the most populous and the largest city of Italy. It is the city with the highest concentration of hitorical and architectural monuments worldwide; the historic center is bounded by the perimeter of the Aurelian Wall, which was erected around the area of the seven hills in the 3rd century, an expression of historical, artistic and cultural heritage of the Western Euoprean world.

Symbola: the Capitoline Wolf, the bronze statue of the legendary she-wolf who suckled the twins Romulus and Remus; the Colosseum, the largest amphitheater of the Roman Empire, the St. Peter`s Basilica at the Vatican, it dominates the whole city and is the symbol of the Christian world, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain.

Musicians’ pilgrimage to Rome with mass service in St. Peter’s Basilica – participation in the Great Rome Parade through the street of Rome and at Regina Coeli in St. Peter’s Square with Pope Francis !

Programma
Day 1 : ARRIVAL
Arrival during the afternoon at the hotel in Rome. Check-in at your hotel. Overnight. 
Day 2 : ROME & MASS SERVICE in ST. PETER'S BASILICA
After breakfast beginning of the city tour “Ancient Rome” – Colosseum and Roman Forum. Lunch on your own 12:00 pm Meeting of the organizers with the band directors. 2:00 pm Gathering of all bands at Piazza del Sant`Uffizio. 3:00 pm Holy Mass in St. Peter`s Basilica. All bands will play during the mass. Overnight.
Day 3 : ROM & PARADE
After breakfast continue the guided tour and visit the most beautiful and famous squares and fontains of Rome (Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi Fontain, Spanish Steps…) Lunch on your own. 5:00 pm Beginning of the Great Parade through the streets of Rome. Lineup of the Brass Bands in a circular formation in Piazza Pio XII (Saint Peter’s Square). Playing the European Anthem together. At the end transfer with your bus to the Pasta-Party together with all participants. Overnight.
Day 4 : DEPARTURE
After breakfast, check-out at your hotel. Option 1) departure Option 2) guided tour of the Saint Peter’s Basilica and participate at noon in Angelus Prayer with the Holy Father.
